Golf Swing Tips For Lowering Your Scores

The golf swing can seem quite complex and it is easy to get confused with different swing techniques wondering what might work well for you. The truth is that there are many different swings that can work well and it is important to find one fundamental swing approach you like and then to stick with that long term making small refinements along the way to improve but do not completely change your swing mechanics all the time otherwise you will never develop a higher level of consistency since your body is always trying to adjust to the new method.

Take lessons if you are new:

You may be tempted to try and learn the swing on your own but it is always a good idea to take at least a few lessons to learn the basic fundamentals as this will speed up the rate at which you improve. This involves locking the index finger of the left hand with the small finger of the right hand. Most people tend to start with a baseball grip however this usually does not work well and is not optimal for promoting the right leverage and swing plane.

Most people do not have much time to practice every day on the range however you can still find a few minutes each day to work on your swing indoors at home as there are many swing and putting training aids that can help you to improve your swing and putting stroke from home so take advantage of them if you can.
